ABOUT
Christine An is an independent documentary filmmaker and a Chinese American living in the diaspora. Armed with a camera, she sets out to dismantle the colonial narrative through her filmmaking and restore power to the oppressed, indigenous, and working communities across the world.
Her work has been shortlisted by the 2025 Student BAFTA Awards, won the 2024 Directors Guild of America Student Award, the 2025 Boston/New England Regional Student Emmy Award, and was officially selected by the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) and the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival(LAAPFF).
